Aaron Ellingson

Aaron is a U.S. Navy veteran who was forward deployed with the USS Fitzgerald (DDG-62) from 2009-2012. He served onboard as a Gunner's Mate and worked on the ship's missile systems, and crew served weapons. He had the opportunity to be a part of the humanitarian mission following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and subsequent tsunami.

He attended the University of Northern Colorado (GO BEARS) and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in media studies. Currently he is attending Regis University for a masters in information & cyber-security.

Aaron is passionate about his community and connecting people together. Mental Health is a constant battle, but he fully believes that getting up, getting out, and getting after it, can ease a lot of these mental burdens.

Aaron lives with his wife, 4 children + 2 cats in Windsor, Colorado. His hobbies are rucking, running, shooting guns, woodworking, cat memes and volunteering.
